Well, of course John Kerry is going to deny “big oil” any government assistance even non-financial. \u00a0So, the decision is back into proposal and study phase. \u00a0Keystone XL was a means of transporting domestic oil (produced n Canada from shale) to the US for refinement and consumption. \u00a0It would continue to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.<\/p>\n
Well, the Canadians decided for us. \u00a0In the absence of any action from the foot-draggig US government, they are going to build the pipeline to the west where they can then ship the oil to China. \u00a0China, needing and craving ever more and larger energy sources is all too eger to accept.<\/p>\n
It would be different if we accepted the oil, then finding we had a glut in production and reserves SOLD the oil to China ourselves. \u00a0Now we are just letting it be sent directly to the Chinese, “our stategic partner” in trade.<\/p>\n
Bullshit. \u00a0The polcies of this administration are designed to hamstring, hobble, and cripple our economy. \u00a0B. Hussein WANTS us to continue our decline as a world power and presence. \u00a0A look at the revised first quarter GDP numbers prove it. \u00a0No, we did not grow at an abyssmal .01 percent. \u00a0We actually contracted 2.9%.<\/p>\n
