Only one side cares

Headline from the NYT:  Who made the most ridiculous comments in the Republican debate?  They got over 600 responses.  They didn’t get any comments about the same question for the Democrat debate—because they didn’t ask it.  And Fox News is surprised and aghast at how the liberal mainstream media protects and coddles the left?  Calling them out on it—that supposed to shame them into behaving?

News flash:  The NYT, LA Times, the (insert liberal rag newspaper name here) doesn’t care what Fox News, or any other right-wing pundit, Congressman, Senator, preacher, Soldier, etc. think about their obvious and overt shilling for the left.  The only people buying their newspaper are the people already in their tank.  They know what the deal is, agree with it, and support it with the subscription dollars.  It isn’t going to change by claiming media bias.  They know it.  We know it.  Everybody knows.  They don’t care.  We are the only ones who do.

Another example:  Quentin Tarantino.  He’s a flaming liberal movie producer and part-time actor.  (Sorry actors, that was an insult.)  He makes movies with lots of guns and violence.  Some of it from the bad guys, some of it from the cops.  Then he sides with the Black Lives Matter movement and against cops.  Police departments in New York, Lose Angeles, and Philadelphia have called for boycotts of his work.  His own father came out and said that Quentin was wrong.

News flash:  He doesn’t care.  Until the time comes when some big executive producer won’t pony up the cash for his next violence movie or once he’s made the 75 million people in his genre decide to not go see it, he doesn’t care.  He probably blames his father for some childhood wrong anyway.  He was spanked too many times, grounded for staying out late, or made to eat too much spinach or helpings of peas and lima beans.  He doesn’t care what dear old Dad says either.  If it doesn’t impact his wallet or get him removed from some insulated A-list party invite, he will say anything he thinks will increase his viewership.  In other words, financially, he is a whore.

Another example:  The moderators themselves at the third debate—they were obnoxious and rude.  They tried pitting candidate against candidate.  They tried shaming Rubio into retiring (and Jeb Bush fell for the bait.)  They ask if the government should regulate fantasy football.  How about fantasy media-fairness?  The RNC, the candidates, and many other news organizations all slammed CNBC (and by extension, their mom and dad) NBC.  The RNC even canceled the debate in February that was a joint NBC/National Review Magazine production.  (The National Review is NOT a liberal publication.)

News flash:  The moderators don’t care and neither does their employer.  The moderators all scored points with the 23 people that cumulatively watch them and that is all that matters to them.  NBC probably got a few more advertising dollars from Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, or some other liberal leaning, sniveling business mogul.  That people who were interested in a fair and powerful debate were left hanging?  These three idiots don’t care.  Liberals, by and large were not watching the debate.  The Kardashians probably had some special on or Kaitlyn Jenner was showing the joys and pitfalls of shaving around an Adam’s apple.

The lesson here?  Republicans should just stop with the continual whining about how unfair the media is in their coverage of liberals versus conservatives.  It is not going to change because they do not care what we say.  They are still on the air, employed, or otherwise buttressed by government subsidies or some other form of financial backing.
